For apps published by Carysaurus. Last updated 16 August 2026.

None of the apps covered by this policy collect, store, or share any personal data. They contain no advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and no user accounts. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is gathered in the first place.

Who this policy covers

Carysaurus is the name under which Carys Richards publishes independent apps and games. This policy applies to the following apps, on every platform where they are distributed:

  • KittyPop!
  • Nimbus
  • Close Enough

If an app is not named above, this policy does not describe it.

What we do not do

Across every app listed above, we do not:

  • collect or store personal information of any kind;
  • ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address;
  • use analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting services;
  • show advertising, or work with advertising networks;
  • use cookies or any similar technology for tracking or profiling;
  • build a profile of you, or track you across apps, websites, or devices;
  • share, sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

The one thing any app transmits is the coordinates Nimbus needs to fetch a forecast, which are sent to the weather services described below and to nowhere else. Nothing identifying you accompanies them.

The apps

KittyPop!

KittyPop! is an entirely offline game. It requests no Android permissions whatsoever, and has no network access — every image, sound, and piece of game data is bundled inside the app itself. Nothing is transmitted from your device, because the app has no ability to transmit anything.

The game saves your best score for each level on your own device, using your browser or device's standard local storage. This information never leaves your device, is never sent to us or to anyone else, and is not linked to you or to any identifier. Deleting the app, or clearing its storage through your device settings, removes it permanently.

Nimbus

Nimbus is a weather app. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no advertising — but unlike KittyPop!, it does need the internet, because a forecast has to come from somewhere.

To show you a forecast, Nimbus needs to know which place you want the forecast for. You can either type a place name into the search box, or tap the location button to use your device's location. Your device's location is only ever read at the moment you tap that button — Nimbus never asks for it in the background, and never on start-up.

Whichever way you choose, the coordinates for that place are sent to two services in order to produce what you see on screen:

  • Open-Meteo, which returns the weather forecast for those coordinates.
  • BigDataCloud, which turns coordinates into a place name so the app can show you where you're looking at.

Nothing is sent with those requests except the coordinates themselves. No name, no account, no device identifier, no advertising ID — there is nothing attached that could identify you, and the requests are not linked to each other or to any profile. Carysaurus operates no server of its own, receives none of this information, and never sees that you used the app at all.

The most recently viewed location and your display preferences are saved on your own device, using your device's standard local storage, so the app can reopen where you left off. That information never leaves your device and is erased when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Close Enough

Close Enough is a habit tracker built around a simple idea: perfection is a scam, and 70% counts. You add your own tasks, check them off through the day, and build a week of little wins instead of chasing an unbroken streak.

Everything you enter — your tasks, your check-ins, your history — is stored locally on your device. None of it is sent anywhere, because there's nowhere for it to go: Close Enough doesn't have a server, an account system, or any way to identify you. If you turn on the daily reminder, that's scheduled locally too, through your phone's own notification system — Close Enough never sees or shares your device's push token or any other identifier. Uninstalling the app deletes everything with it.

Children

Our apps are suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children either. We do not knowingly gather information about any user, regardless of age.

Your rights

Data protection law gives you rights over personal data held about you — including rights of access, correction, and erasure. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete. You are welcome to contact us to confirm this.

Changes to this policy

If an app's data handling ever changes, this page will be updated before that change reaches you, and the date at the top will be revised. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing release notes.
